Home » New message on Michael Schumacher’s social media accounts makes fans emotional

New message on Michael Schumacher’s social media accounts makes fans emotional. New message on Michael's social media accounts.

The new post on Michael Schumacher’s official social media accounts was a nice Easter surprise for the fans of Scuderia Ferrari. For those who do not know, the seven-time Formula 1 world champion and Ferrari legend has a profile on Facebook and Instagram in which photos of the highlights of his career are regularly posted. Thousands of fans and insiders follow the profile to relive the career of the seven-time world champion and, why not, wait for some updates on his state of health.

“Without my team I am nobody”, says the caption of the series of photos uploaded in honor of the anniversary of the 2000 Imola Grand Prix, won by the German champion for the Maranello team. A sweet phrase, which captures Michael Schumacher’s feelings towards his team, and which has made Ferrari and Formula One fans all over the world emotional.

The San Marino Grand Prix
On 9 April 2000 the San Marino Grand Prix was held in Imola and was won by Michael Schumacher for Scuderia Ferrari, followed by McLaren’s Mika Hakkinen and David Coulthard. The fight for that race win was close, since it was the Finnish driver who took pole position on Saturday. Despite a less than excellent start, Michael Schumacher managed to get the win also thanks to the perfect pit stops performed by his mechanics.

At the moment there is no news of the German champion, who was the victim of a tragic skiing accident in Meribel nine years ago. Following the tragic episode, the family wanted to protect the former Ferrari driver behind a wall of privacy, and only a few people can visit Michael Schumacher. For Ferrari fans, the Instagram and Facebook profiles are a way to stay close to the Formula 1 champion and try to feel close to him despite his long time away from the public scene.
