On 9 April 2000 the San Marino Grand Prix was held in Imola and was won by Michael Schumacher for Scuderia Ferrari, followed by McLaren’s Mika Hakkinen and David Coulthard. The fight for that race win was close, since it was the Finnish driver who took pole position on Saturday.
