Ferrari SF-24 Presentation: the new Formula 1 car from the Prancing Horse
Ferrari boss Frédéric Vasseur does not hide a certain optimism: “We’ll be ruthless and effective.” The most highly anticipated day of the year for the fans of the Scuderia has finally arrived. The covers have been lifted off the new car that, in the skilled hands of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz, will try to get closer to the seemingly unbeatable Red Bull.
Formula 1 is getting into gear. Just a few days before the start of the Bahrain pre-season testing session, scheduled from February 21 to 23, the top teams are beginning to unveil their cars. On Ferrari’s day – which, however, saw Red Bull attempt to steal the spotlight with the shakedown of the RB20 – we finally got a glimpse of the brand-new SF-24.
A project revolutionized compared to 2023, which promises, first and foremost, to provide ample room for development to the engineers throughout the season and in view of 2025.
“Presenting a new car is always a very exciting moment, both for me and for the drivers, even though all of us are already thinking about when we will compete on the track with our opponents – as stated in the Ferrari press release – This year, we have to pick up from where we left off at the end of last season when we were consistently at the front.” – the French manager pointed out.
“We face the most challenging championship in the history of Formula 1, and with Charles and Carlos, we agree: we have to be more cinical and effective in how we manage the races, seizing opportunities, trying to score points in every race, and continuing to improve in all aspects.” – he added.

“To succeed in such a tightly contested championship, we know that the fans can be our extra gear, and we are proud to be able to count on them,” concludes Frédéric Vasseur. A press conference is scheduled for the afternoon, with the Ferrari boss ready to provide more insights on the new car and the upcoming Formula 1 campaign.
