A few minutes ago, through a brief video published on their official YouTube channel, Scuderia Ferrari finally revealed the most anticipated car of the grid, the SF-24 single seater. As expected, it was a very low-profile presentation chosen by the Maranello team, with the two drivers set to hit the track in a few minutes at the Fiorano track for the first official shakedown. The anticipation is enormous to see what this car will be capable of, with the Prancing Horse aiming for redemption after a disappointing 2023 Formula 1 campaign.
SF24, Charles Leclerc’s first comments
“I really like the car, including the white and yellow details on the body,” commented the Monegasque driver in the official statement released by Ferrari a few minutes ago.
“Obviously, what interests me most is the performance because it’s on the track that everything is at stake. The SF-24 promises to be less sensitive and more drivable. I would say that, for us drivers, it’s exactly what we need to do well.”
With (almost) the complete disappearance of black, Ferrari has decided to adopt a livery with a strong presence of white and yellow, in addition to the timeless red, which, however, has a brighter shade compared to the past season.
“I expect a step forward in many aspects,” the Monegasque driver adds, speaking about expectations for the new car.
Finally, a message to the Ferrari fans: “From what I’ve been able to understand in the simulator, I believe we are where we want to be. This season, the goal is to always be at the front. I want to repay our fans with many great races and dedicate victories to them again.” – the Monegasque concluded.
