Scuderia Ferrari have launched an investigation after a photo which appear to be snaps of their 2022 Formula 1 challenger were leaked yesterday, with one day before the official car presentation. The legendary Maranello team unveiled their new F1-75 car in an online ceremony earlier today, but the Tifosi were already well aware of the livery and design of the new car, after seeing the photos which began to circulate on social media on Wednesday afternoon.
Aware that the leaks are real, one Twitter user wrote: “Another car leaked. This is actually really beautiful. Welcome, F1-75”.
Another upset Ferrari penned: “How did the Ferrari car leak A DAY before the launch.” While another added: “Just saw the ferrari car ughhh!!! People who leak cars are annoying.”

Despite the leak, Ferrari, who finished third in the constructors’ championship in 2021, continued with its official presentation this afternoon via a live stream and were looking forward to fans seeing their work.
After being out of contention for the championship for several years, the Maranello team is not confident of being able to challenge at the very front of the grid once again in the 2022 Formula 1 season. Recent reports in various Italian media outlets suggest there is “a lot of optimism” at Maranello for the upcoming championship, especially regarding the power unit which Ferrari will be introducing this year.
