
Charles Leclerc returned to the podium at the 2025 United States Grand Prix in Austin, finishing third behind race winner Max Verstappen and Lando Norris. The Ferrari driver enjoyed a strong weekend, showing excellent pace and flawless tyre management throughout the race on the challenging Austin circuit.
Leclerc defended his position for most of the race, only being overtaken by Norris in the final stages. Despite that, it was a positive result for Ferrari, restoring confidence after a few difficult rounds and demonstrating competitive race pace once again.

At the end of the race, Charles Leclerc’s radio exchange with his race engineer Bryan Bozzi reflected the team’s satisfaction. Bozzi said: “And P3. Well done. Great race, excellent job. Nice recovery this weekend. It’s great to be back on the podium. I think we worked really well these days.”
Soon after, team principal Frédéric Vasseur joined in to congratulate the driver. With his usual sense of humor, Charles Leclerc joked: “I didn’t understand anything, Fred!” to which Fred Vasseur responded: “Don’t worry Charles, we’ll make it, we’ll win.”
Questions about Norris and track limits
After the race, Charles Leclerc asked via radio whether Lando Norris had received a penalty for track limits. Engineer Bryan Bozzi confirmed that the British driver had not, securing Norris’ second place. Charles Leclerc asked: “No penalty for Norris?” Bryan Bozzi replied: “No, confirmed, no penalty for him.”
Encouraging result for Ferrari
The podium in Austin represents a positive signal for Ferrari, showing tangible progress in tyre management and race pace. Charles Leclerc once again demonstrated his ability to maximize the potential of the SF-25, capping off a weekend of growth and solid performance for the entire team.
