The Mexico Grand Prix saw not only on-track clashes but also violent incidents in the stands. A video has surfaced showing a bloody fight between fans, highlighting the sometimes toxic atmosphere among Formula 1 supporters, comparable to that of football fans. Unfortunately, this is not the first time that punches and brawls have erupted at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodríguez after a race.
Back in 2023, spectators in the Foro Sol stadium section started targeting some Ferrari fans, leading to confrontations. Similarly, the recent altercation started after the race had ended and fans were celebrating in the grandstands. A person wearing a Red Bull shirt threw a drink at another spectator and was then pushed to the ground by someone wearing a Ferrari shirt.
The fight quickly escalated as drinks and punches flew between the stands. Other fans tried to intervene, while some attempted to separate the combatants. One attendee captured part of the brawl on video, which was later shared on social media and went viral.
The 25-second clip was posted on Reddit. According to reports, the violence erupted after a single fan threw a drink at another, which sparked the chaos. Multiple people were injured during the incident.

One fan reported that the altercation occurred in Stand 31: “They didn’t let us onto the track afterward because the security officer in charge was hurt and had to be taken to the hospital. These people are disgusting…”
Another spectator commented: “I hate this. I’ve been attending Grands Prix for over 30 years, and I’ve never seen such a fight among fans in all that time.”
Mexican authorities eventually apprehended the instigator of the brawl and escorted him out of the Autodromo, bringing the chaotic incident under control.
