Charles Leclerc became the first Formula 1 driver to take to the track at Madring, giving the brand-new Madrid circuit its historic debut behind the wheel of Ferrari’s SF-26.
Fresh from his victory at the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, the Monegasque completed the first laps of a Formula 1 car at the venue during a promotional filming day organised following a request from the promoters of the new Madrid circuit.
Madring is set to make its official Formula 1 debut when it joins the calendar for the Spanish Grand Prix in September.
