Andrea Kimi Antonelli claimed his third straight Grand Prix victory in Miami, finishing ahead of the McLaren duo of Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri in a race that further strengthened his championship credentials.
The Mercedes driver now holds a 20-point lead over George Russell in the drivers’ standings. Russell, who managed to climb back to fourth place in the closing stages of the race, overtook both Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc to limit the damage.
For Ferrari, Charles Leclerc now finds himself 37 points behind the championship leader, underlining the gap that the Scuderia still needs to close in the title fight. Meanwhile, valuable points were also secured by Franco Colapinto, as well as by the Williams drivers Carlos Sainz and Alexander Albon, who continue to contribute consistently in the midfield battle.
