After more than a month of forced downtime, Formula 1 finally returned to action in the United States for the fourth round of the 2026 season. The Miami street circuit, built around the Hard Rock Stadium, delivered a race packed with action, overtakes, and multiple incidents, following Lando Norris’ victory in Saturday’s Sprint race.
Right from the start, drama unfolded at Turn 1 as Max Verstappen spun his car. Fortunately, the Dutch driver managed to keep the engine running and continue his race without retiring. Shortly after, both Isack Hadjar and Pierre Gasly were involved in separate incidents that forced them out of the race. Among the retirements were also Liam Lawson and Nico Hulkenberg.
At the front, Andrea Kimi Antonelli once again proved unstoppable, taking another victory ahead of Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, further strengthening his position in the championship fight.
