Official schedule for all Sprint Races in 2024 Formula 1 season. Here are the schedules for weekends with the Sprint format.

With the publication of the Sprint schedules for 2024, the calendar for the upcoming season is now officially detailed. A month ago, the timings for all weekends without the Sprint format were released.

There are a total of 6 Sprint Races scheduled for 2024. The circuits hosting these “short” races are, in chronological order, Shanghai, Miami, Spielberg, United States, Interlagos, and Losail. The new format specifies that the Sprint Race will be held before the Sunday race qualifying sessions.

So, while last year the qualifying shootouts and the Sprint took place after the qualifying session (scheduled for Friday), it will now be slightly different. After the first and only practice session, the shootouts will be held, followed by the Sprint, and only then will the qualifying sessions take place.

For this reason, the Saturday race timings will be very different from last year, and (5 out of 6) will mostly be scheduled in the morning. Let’s take a closer look at how the race weekends with the Sprint format will be structured.

Saturday: Sprint at 12:00, Qualifying at 16:00
