Formula 1 is also going crazy for Jannik Sinner

It’s Sinner-mania even in Formula 1. The stars of the sport often frequent Monte Carlo, both because many of them live there and for matters related to one of the most prestigious races on the calendar.

This weekend, however, the Principality is in the spotlight for the Masters 1000 tennis tournament, the most important tournament category after the Grand Slams. Watching Jannik Sinner’s match against Sebastian Korda – just won easily by the Italian with a score of 6-1 6-2 – was also Scuderia Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz.

The Spaniard is currently in Monte Carlo and has posted an Instagram Story showing Jannik Sinner serving.

George Russell is also in Monte Carlo, who yesterday watched the match between Novak Djokovic and Roman Safiullin, which incidentally ended with the same score as Sinner’s (6-1 6-2). Both are qualified for the round of 16: they could face each other in the final, but Italy is also rooting for Lorenzo Musetti, Djokovic’s next opponent.

Lando Norris also commented on George Russell’s post, seizing the opportunity to tease his friend-rival: “Oh my God, I was there. It was a pleasure to see you,” pretending to be one of his admirers.
