Max Verstappen chasing victory
Max Verstappen secured third place in qualifying and made it clear that his target is nothing less than victory. Below you can find the streaming box to follow the race live, which gets underway at 12:00 and runs for a total of four hours. Verstappen is sharing the cockpit with Chris Lulham, driving the #31 Ferrari 296 GT3 prepared by Emil Frey Racing.

Max’s new challenge
It is no secret that Max Verstappen is a true modern racer. In his free time, he is often seen enjoying simulator sessions or testing closed-wheel racing cars on track. The four-time Formula 1 world champion has never hidden his ambition to one day take part in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, ideally alongside his father Jos Verstappen and possibly under the banner of his own team.
As part of that journey, this weekend Max Verstappen is tackling the Nürburgring 4 Hours, competing in the NLS – the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie. For his GT3 debut, Max Verstappen will line up alongside Chris Lulham in a Ferrari 296 GT3 run by Swiss squad Emil Frey Racing. The car features the Verstappen.com Racing x Red Bull livery and carries the number #31.
Verstappen and Ferrari, just a suggestion?
According to Quotidiano Sportivo, Verstappen had to push against Red Bull’s initial reluctance, as the team reportedly “denied him permission” to race a Ferrari in GT3. Could this be seen as a glimpse of a possible future link with Ferrari in Formula 1? It is far too early to make such a prediction, but it is no secret that Max Verstappen intends to evaluate his career options at the end of 2026. At the same time, Ferrari and Lewis Hamilton could also reconsider their partnership after that date.
For now, the focus is on the Nürburgring 4 Hours. Qualifying took place in the morning (from 8:30 to 10:00 Central European Time (CET), while the main race begins at 12:00 Central European Time (CET)
