Lewis Hamilton sends strong message to Ferrari fans after Bahrain F1 test: “I’m not going anywhere”. After the Bahrain F1 test, Lewis Hamilton sends a powerful message to Ferrari fans.

Lewis Hamilton, Ferrari, 2025 F1

With Formula 1 leaving Bahrain after the final day of pre-season testing, Lewis Hamilton delivered a powerful and emotional message to Ferrari fans. The British driver is fully focused on 2026 — a season that must represent redemption after the frustrations and disappointments of recent years. Early signs suggest that the SF-26 shows strong potential, positioning itself among the early frontrunners ahead of the Australian Grand Prix. It will now be up to the seven-time world champion to extract the maximum performance from the car.

Following a championship campaign without podiums or victories, Lewis Hamilton found himself at the centre of intense media scrutiny. Several prominent figures within the paddock questioned his realistic chances of a comeback — some expressing cautious optimism, others adopting a far more pessimistic tone. There were even suggestions of an early retirement, while some voices speculated that Ferrari should already be preparing Oliver Bearman as a future replacement.

However, negativity does not intimidate the seven-time world champion, who has spent his entire career handling immense pressure. In a lengthy social media message, Lewis Hamilton expressed his excitement for the upcoming Formula 1 season and reaffirmed — if there were ever any doubts — his firm intention to continue racing.

Hamilton: “I forgot myself, but now I can restart”

“It’s inspiring to see a team doing everything possible to build a car,” wrote Lewis Hamilton. “That’s the most fascinating part of this job. Everything is created from scratch, designed and redesigned over and over again. And then only a few of us get the privilege of testing that car. It’s a feeling that never gets old. I want to say a huge thank you to everyone in the team, at the factory, for the hard work that’s gone into getting us to this point! I’m truly grateful.”

“I love this job so much and I love working with my team and racing for the fans. I’m incredibly lucky to do what I do and I’m excited for the season ahead. I’ve reset and regenerated myself. I’m not going anywhere, so stick with me. For a moment I forgot who I was, but thanks to you and your support you won’t see that mindset again. I know what needs to be done. This is going to be a crazy season. I’ve given everything to be here today. Let’s go, team!”

Lewis Hamilton’s words send a clear and determined message to Ferrari supporters and the entire Formula 1 paddock. With the 2026 F1 season approaching and the SF-26 showing promising signs during Bahrain testing, the Briton appears more motivated than ever to fight back and prove that his story at the top level of motorsport is far from over.
