Third place in Q3 for the British driver, who achieved his best qualifying result with Ferrari in Mexico.
The Scuderia keeps improving
It took 20 race weekends, but at last, Lewis Hamilton managed to claim a top-three qualifying result (excluding the Sprint Qualifying in China) behind the wheel of a Ferrari. It happened in Mexico, and this performance appears to confirm the progress made by the Scuderia in recent events. Ahead of Lewis Hamilton were only the unstoppable McLaren of Lando Norris and the other SF-25 of Charles Leclerc.
“We’re continuing to improve our procedures,” the seven-time Formula 1 World Champion explained during the press conference, touching on a topic that has been particularly important to him since the beginning of the season. “From the moment we arrive – and even before – to the decisions we make as a team, with the engineers, and when we go out on track. All these things. So we’re continuing to optimize various aspects in all those areas. And also the way Charles and I work together to make the car progress and develop it has been really positive over the past few race weekends.” – the British driver pointed out ahead of the Mexican Grand Prix weekend at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez.
