The German will be the new Head of Performance.
At Imola, Scuderia Ferrari is not only presenting the updated version of the SF-24 ca, which has been developed over recent months, but will also see the debut of Bryan Bozzi as Charles Leclerc’s race engineer, as Xavi Marcos has been reassigned to other duties within the Maranello team after the Miami Grand Prix two weeks ago.
Bryan Bozzi’s promotion as Charles Leclerc’s race engineer leaves the position of Head of Performance on the Maranello pit wall vacant, and it will not remain unfilled. An ex-AlphaTauri member who joined Maranello just last January will take this role.
We are talking about Johannes Hatz, who will take on the role of the Head of Performance at Ferrari’s command center replacing Bryan Bozzi. The German began his F1 career at Toro Rosso in 2013 and remained with the former Minardi team for a decade. Since January 2018, he has held the position of Head of Performance, first at Toro Rosso-AlphaTauri and now at Ferrari.
