The Hungaroring is a renowned circuit that has been a staple on the Formula 1 calendar since 1986. Located in Budapest, Hungary, this track offers a unique challenge to drivers with its narrow layout and slow, twisty nature. Measuring 4.381 kilometers in length, the circuit is known for its tight and demanding corners, providing little room for overtaking opportunities. The track surface, although improved in recent years, can be initially low in grip but gradually improves as the rubber is laid down during the race weekend. The Hungarian Grand Prix held at the Hungaroring is often characterized by intense heat, making it a physically demanding race for both drivers and their cars. Ferrari has enjoyed success at this circuit, with seven victories to their name, including Nigel Mansell’s iconic win in 1989 and Sebastian Vettel’s triumph in 2017.
