Among the variables that can decide the outcome of the Barcelona race is certainly the choice of the right strategies: let’s see what Pirelli predicts for the Spanish Grand Prix in F1.
According to Pirelli’s predictions, it should be a two-stop strategy. The fastest strategy is expected to be starting with the soft tire before switching to a medium and then back to a soft.
In this case, the pit stop windows range from the fifteenth to the twenty-first lap and from the forty-first to the forty-seventh lap.
An alternative could be starting with the soft tire and then switching to the hard tire before finishing with another soft. If teams opt for this strategy, the first stop window would be brought forward by a few laps, between the thirteenth and nineteenth laps, while the second would come between the forty-second and forty-ninth laps.
The third possibility available to the teams involves starting on the soft tire, then switching to the hard tire, and then to the medium. In this case, the pit stop windows would be between the thirteenth and nineteenth laps and between the thirty-eighth and forty-fourth laps.
For this weekend, Pirelli has also provided a fourth option involving three stops. In this case, after starting on the soft tire, there would be a switch first to the medium tire and then two sets of soft tires.

For the Barcelona weekend, Pirelli has decided to bring a hard C1, a medium C2, and a soft C3. These are the sets of tires still available to the teams:
