Staggering figures emerge in the ranking of the richest sponsors for the 2024 F1 season: the top five brands paying the most.
Sponsorship and F1 have always gone hand in hand, and in an era where the circus has become highly desirable, brands are willing to shell out millions just to feature on the sides of the single-seaters.
With the Budget Cap in effect, financial efficiency has become a priority for teams, making the role of sponsors even more crucial. And it’s crucial not only for the teams. F1 itself has entered into multi-year partnerships with brands like Aramco, Crypto.com, and Liqui Moly.
We have thus compiled a list of the top five sponsors willing to spend the most money to appear on the cars of the top teams.
5 – ByBit – Red Bull
The cryptocurrency trading platform has been associated with the reigning world champion team since 2022. In exchange for a spot on the front wing of their car, the Milton Keynes team has secured an income of $40 million.
4 – Stake – Stake F1 Team
The Australian company Stake entered F1 as a sponsor of the then Sauber – Alfa Romeo before taking the big step for the 2024 season. The online gaming giant is now the title sponsor of the Swiss team, appearing on the grid as the Stake F1 Team until 2025 for $50 million per season. With the arrival of Audi, the sponsor will try to establish a partnership with F1.

3 – Petronas – Mercedes
The historic partner of the three-pointed star collaborates with Mercedes and customer teams for the development of race fuel. But that’s not all. The logo of the Malaysian company also appears on the sides of the Brackley-based car. The price? $70 million per season, almost half of the team’s annual budget.
2 – Aramco – Aston Martin
The Saudi oil company is, in all respects, the biggest sponsor of the circus. In addition to featuring in all circuits directly linked to F1, the Aramco logo is also present on the two Aston Martins of Alonso and Stroll. It is rumored that the company already owns shares in the British team and intends to take control in the future. For now, it “only” contributes a whopping $75 million annually to Lawrence Stroll’s coffers.
1 – Oracle – Red Bull
Red Bull opens and closes the ranking. The Anglo-Austrian team leads thanks to its partnership with Oracle. The American giant is a “historic” sponsor of F1, having appeared as early as 1990 on Jos Verstappen’s Benetton. Today, it appears on Max Verstappen’s Red Bull for the monstrous sum of $90 million per season.
