A mysterious countdown appeared on Ferrari’s social media profiles, hinting at an event on the afternoon of January 23.
On the afternoon of Monday, January 22, a countdown appeared on Ferrari’s social media profiles. It originated from the official Maranello account (not the racing team) and was later reposted on the official Scuderia Ferrari profile.
The countdown indicates that there will be an event in the afternoon of January 23, with the appointment set for 2:00 PM. Before the countdown, two Instagram Stories were posted: the first one reads, “This story is not available,” referring to something that has not been revealed yet.
The social media managers from Maranello continue the game with a second story stating, “But it will be available soon. And this story will change everything.” Then, as mentioned earlier, the countdown for the event tomorrow afternoon is set.
There don’t seem to be any spoilers about what will be revealed, and it should be a complete surprise for everyone. Considering that it all starts from the general profile (the road car profile), it should be some surprise related to a new car.
The fact that the mystery doesn’t originate from the racing team’s profile suggests that it has nothing to do with the drivers and Fred Vasseur’s team. Some may have speculated about driver renewals or some news within the F1 team, but the mystery doesn’t seem to be headed in that direction.
Almost certainly, it should be a new road car presented by Ferrari. It could be the successor to the Ferrari 812 or the new road-going Hypercar. But these are all speculations; to be sure, we’ll have to wait a few hours and be ready for this new surprise. Appointment at 2:00 PM on January 23.
