Giorgio Terruzzi slams Vasseur: the manager can no longer fool Ferrari fans
Giorgio Terruzzi launched a strong attack on Ferrari Team Principal Frédéric Vasseur, noting how he has finally “stopped laughing”. According to the Italian journalist, the manager can no longer fool the Tifosi. Giorgio Terruzzi harshly criticised Fred Vasseur’s behaviour after the Qatar debacle, arguing that the Team Principal has finally “stopped laughing” and that Ferrari fans deserve far more serious explanations.
The Scuderia Ferrari is facing a difficult situation. Securing fourth place in the Constructors’ Championship has reignited controversies that also point towards 2026. The team openly admitted that development of the SF-25 was stopped in April to shift focus onto the new car. Charles Leclerc underlined that the decision was agreed by everyone but insisted that it does not justify such poor performances. In his podcast, Giorgio Terruzzi launched a harsh and direct attack on Fred Vasseur.
Giorgio Terruzzi: “Since no one here gets angry, I will get angry myself”
“The only positive thing about Fred Vasseur is that he has stopped laughing. Now he says they stopped developing the car in April. Who does he think he’s dealing with? At every race they said they would bring updates, and now they come out and say they stopped developing the car in April. Is it really possible that a team like Ferrari can’t work on two cars at the same time?! Enough! Since no one here gets angry, I will get angry myself!” These were the journalist’s words. Even the excuse used by the French Team Principal after the race does not hold up too well. Yes, tyre pressures may have influenced performance, but they are certainly not the only cause of Ferrari’s collapse in Losail.
The SF-25 is a car that was flawed from the start. What is most worrying is that the same people are also working on project 678, where technical leadership is entrusted to Loïc Serra. Lewis Hamilton expects major changes heading into 2026. For Charles Leclerc, this represents Ferrari’s final chance, as he could decide his future after seeing the performance of the 2026 car during the first three or four races. We will see what happens next.
For a fanbase that has heard big promises year after year, Giorgio Terruzzi’s outburst crystallised the growing frustration: Ferrari fans deserve honesty, not excuses – and right now they are getting neither.
