The internal tensions in the Ferrari garage were strongly felt again after the 2025 Miami Grand Prix, where Ferrari achieved very little and left room for new controversies. During the podcast Terruzziracconta, journalist Giorgio Terruzzi harshly criticized the team’s performance and the Ferrari SF-25, openly talking about signs of deep discontent from Lewis Hamilton.
“Leclerc and Hamilton got into a fight over the radio for a seventh place. You don’t air such things, you only do that when you’re fighting for a victory,” Giorgio Terruzzi said, referring to the exchange via team radio between Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton. “This makes me think there are too many signs of discomfort. Maybe Hamilton is already fed up, even though he’s a source of problems but also a victim. You don’t expect it to take him 23 laps to pass Ocon.”
The Ferrari SF-25 is a car without direction
Giorgio Terruzzi then highlighted the core of the issue: “We don’t know where the potential of this car is. There’s no progress. Now we have three races in a row and we need to understand if the issue with the wings and the FIA checks can affect the ongoing balance.”
The final judgment is harsh: “It seems to me like a car destined for an early and bitter retirement. It should already be archived.”
During the same podcast, Nicoli added to the critique by analyzing the real risk Ferrari faced in qualifying: “Both cars could have been eliminated in Q2, and then we’d be talking about the sixth-best team, which is absurd. If only Charles Leclerc hadn’t found that slipstream from Norris, he would have been out of Q3 along with his teammate.”
The picture emerging from Miami is one of a Ferrari in technical and managerial confusion, with an SF-25 that seems to have already lost its way. And with three consecutive races ahead, the time to react is getting shorter.
