Fred Vasseur’s words ahead of the weekend
“It will certainly not be easy given what we have seen so far and considering the level of our rivals. But both Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton will give it their best, as this is a circuit where they have always performed quite well. Singapore is always one of the most challenging races of the year for the entire team, both for the drivers and for the people working in the pit lane or the garage. The layout of the circuit, the night-time conditions, and the likely appearance of the Safety Car combine to make this Grand Prix a true test of concentration and adaptability.”
“This year there is also the additional variable of the increased pit lane speed limit, which could influence strategy. As is typical of street circuits, qualifying will once again play a decisive role, and we will need to make the most of every session to aim for the best possible starting positions. The objective for the weekend will once again be to maximize our potential, as in the last races we have seen how small details can make a big difference in the points we bring home,” said the Ferrari Team Principal.
With these factors in mind, Ferrari approaches the Singapore GP with full focus, aiming to combine driver skill and team coordination to overcome the unique challenges of the circuit. The team remains determined to push for the best results possible, confident that careful preparation and attention to detail can make the difference in achieving a strong performance.
