After a two-week summer break, the Formula 1 World Championship is finally set to return to the track. This coming weekend, the fastest single-seaters on the planet will race at what is widely regarded as the “university of motorsport”: the legendary Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium. Once again, the F1 paddock heads to the Ardennes forest for one of the most iconic and eagerly anticipated races on the calendar.
This season, the Belgian Grand Prix will be particularly notable, as it is the only European round to host a Sprint weekend format. At ScuderiaFans.com, we will bring fans comprehensive coverage from inside one of the most popular race weekends of the entire championship.
For those planning to follow the action from home, all the track sessions from Formula 1, as well as the support categories—Formula 3, Formula 2, and the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup—will be broadcast live on the Sky Sports network. CLICK HERE to check the full weekend schedule with broadcast times.
For fans attending the race live at the circuit, the official event app “F1 SPA GP” will be an essential tool. Through the app, spectators can purchase tickets and access practical information, including detailed maps of parking areas around the venue and the full entertainment schedule for the three-day event.
Plenty of entertainment in the Fan Zone
Throughout the weekend, the Fan Zone will be a hotspot of activity. In addition to appearances by the 20 Formula 1 drivers and their team principals, several well-known personalities will take the stage. These include Felipe Drugovich, former Alfa Romeo driver Valtteri Bottas, 1997 Formula 1 World Champion Jacques Villeneuve, and Ferrari’s own Antonio Giovinazzi, among others. Fans will have the chance to engage with these stars in interviews and interactive sessions.
How to reach the Spa-Francorchamps circuit
By car
Reaching Spa-Francorchamps by car is straightforward. Fans driving to the Belgian Grand Prix can access several paid parking areas situated around the entire race venue. These parking zones are color-coded for easier navigation. Gates open at 6:00 AM and close at 10:00 PM each day. Organizers recommend using the Waze app for real-time navigation assistance and to avoid congestion on approach roads.
By bus
For those choosing public transportation, a dedicated shuttle service called “City Shuttles” will be running throughout the race weekend, from Friday, July 25 to Sunday, July 27, 2025. These shuttle buses will depart from a variety of Belgian and border cities—including Aachen, Antwerp, Brussels, Charleroi, Cologne, Düsseldorf, Eindhoven, Liège, Lille, Luxembourg, Maastricht, Mons, and Namur. Arrival at the circuit is expected around 9:00 AM. This service offers a convenient option for fans traveling without private vehicles.
By train
Taking the train is another accessible option. The nearest station to the circuit is Verviers-Central. From there, shuttle buses will transport spectators close to the circuit entrances. Bus lines 294 and 395 will operate from Verviers-Central to Spa-Francorchamps—except on Sunday, when these lines will be diverted and will not serve the circuit. The ticket cost for each ride on these two bus lines is €3.50. Note: TEC subscriptions are only valid on these two public routes on Saturday and Sunday and are not applicable for private shuttle services.
