Following the conclusion of the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, which is now part of the season’s history books, the sport enters the second half of the championship with plenty still left to fight for.
The 2025 Belgian Grand Prix, scheduled from Friday, July 25 to Sunday, July 27, will feature some key changes to the weekend format, including the return of the Sprint Race. Only one Free Practice session will be held on Friday before the action ramps up quickly with Sprint Qualifying later the same day.
This revised schedule means teams will have minimal time to fine-tune their Formula 1 cars ahead of competitive running. As a result, the weekend will require precise planning and quick adaptation from all the teams and drivers.
There is significant anticipation within the Scuderia Ferrari garage, as the team is expected to finally introduce its long-awaited rear suspension upgrade at Spa-Francorchamps. While the McLaren Formula 1 Team has largely dominated the first half of the 2025 season, the championship standings are far from finalized. With many teams expected to shift their development focus entirely to the 2026 regulations, the second half of the season could bring unpredictable scenarios and a shake-up in the pecking order.
