Leo Turrini and Ivan Capelli, guests on the Sky program Race Anatomy, commented on the Miami Grand Prix, discussing Ferrari’s difficulties.
Leo Turrini and Ivan Capelli’s words
This is the journalist’s opinion: “The SF-25 is a car that was poorly conceived. It’s like a Rubik’s Cube, as I’ve said before, and you can see it from how the drivers handle it.
“If you then add the long-distance spat between Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton over seventh place, what can a Ferrari fan think…
“It’s not normal that Ferrari, six races into the season, is slower than Williams. That’s something disastrous. Is there the potential in the car that Fred Vasseur talks about? I don’t know,” concluded Leo Turrini.
The former Ferrari driver, instead, stated: “Counting the kilometres driven since the start of the year, each driver has done at least 5,500: “After more than 5,000 kilometres, the car is what it is—and if you haven’t figured it out yet, if you still can’t read it, that means something is wrong. In the past, cars used to stop due to reliability issues, and that meant we didn’t gather the necessary data. Today, it’s different—the engineers have all the information they need, and yet the thread to unravel the problem still hasn’t been found,” Ivan Capelli added in conclusion.
