Ferrari on track at Mugello: SF-23 test with Antonio Giovinazzi
The team arrived at the Mugello circuit, which is owned by Ferrari, on Wednesday, April 23. Among the Tuscan hills, the Scuderia ran a TPC test session with the goal of verifying the correlation between on-track data and simulator results.
Leading the on-track work was Italian driver Antonio Giovinazzi. The 31-year-old from Martina Franca took to the track in the Ferrari SF-23 under the watchful eye of Lewis Hamilton. The WEC Ferrari driver, with number 39 on the engine cover, completed multiple laps testing different setups and solutions.
The Maranello team is now preparing for two intense weeks of work ahead of the Miami GP, the sixth round of the 2025 championship. After the Florida race, which will host the second Sprint of the season, F1 will move on to Imola. On home soil in Romagna, Ferrari plans to introduce the first updates to the SF-25 driven by Hamilton and Leclerc—an early preview of the major upgrade package planned for the Spanish GP in Barcelona.
