On Valentine’s Day, Scuderia Ferrari wanted to give a gift to all Tifosi, presenting to the public the car that will take to the track in the 2023 Formula One season in an attempt to interrupt the long period without any world titles for the Maranello team, as the last championship titles date back to the two-year period 2007-2008.
After the second place secured last year both in the Drivers Championship, with Charles Leclerc, and in the Constructors’ classification, there is only one step left to climb; the last, but the most difficult. The tool to try to achieve a great performance in the 2023 Formula 1 campaign is the new SF-23 car, which will have the task of confirming the speed and competitiveness of its F1-75 predecessor, with the addition, however, of an improved reliability and better development during the year.
Waiting to see the latest addition to the Maranello team which will soon be unveiled in front of the cameras and then on the Fiorano track, the CEO of Ferrari, Benedetto Vigna, described the new challenger and made some statements that are already destined to make the fans excited for the new season.
The SF-23 has in fact been defined as a “car that will be unprecedented in terms of speed”. Now the hope is that this first analysis will immediately find confirmation on the track, starting from the tests of 23-25 February in Bahrain, when the first real comparison will take place between the new Ferrari car and its direct rivals, above all all Mercedes and Red Bull.
