A shake-up in Hamilton’s inner circle
New year, new life. The 2026 season has only been underway for a month, but for Lewis Hamilton it has so far brought a series of professional separations. After the split with race engineer Riccardo Adami and, as reported earlier today, with manager Marc Hynes, another departure has now been confirmed for the seven-time world champion. His press officer “Ella”, Gabriela Kwaku Yeboah, has also stepped down from her role. The news was reported by Molly Hudson, a journalist at The Times.

Kwaku Yeboah had been involved in Mission 44, Lewis Hamilton’s charitable foundation, and was responsible for managing Sir Lewis Hamilton’s communications during his first year as a Ferrari driver. She followed him closely through all of his media commitments, acting as a constant presence during race weekends, promotional events, and official appearances.
While the new role of Gabriela Kwaku Yeboah has not yet been disclosed, it is known that former manager Marc Hynes is set to join Cadillac. That separation, the second between Hynes and Hamilton after they reunited in 2024, has been described as amicable and presumably agreed upon by both parties.

Lewis Hamilton’s decision to part ways with Gabriela “Ella” Kwaku Yeboah therefore marks the latest chapter in a sweeping transformation of his personal and professional support structure for the 2026 season. By restructuring his media team alongside shifts in his management and engineering staff, the Briton is clearly looking to reset his focus as he navigates the immense pressure of his ongoing tenure at Ferrari. While “Ella” played a crucial role in managing the superstar’s image during his transition to Maranello, this overhaul suggests that Sir Lewis is seeking a different operational dynamic to match the high-stakes demands of F1’s newest technical cycle.
The departure of Kwaku Yeboah completes a significant “inner circle” revolution for Lewis Hamilton, leaving fans and the paddock curious about who will lead his communications strategy as the 2026 campaign intensifies.
