Ferrari has announced a mysterious date across its social media channels, also involving Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton in the initiative; here is the video released by the Scuderia.
The Prancing Horse could be preparing a surprise for its Tifosi. A mysterious date has appeared linked to an initiative that features both Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton, as shown in a video published by Ferrari.
As we get closer and closer to the Miami Grand Prix, Ferrari continues to build anticipation around its American presence. Since 2024, the Maranello-based team has introduced special liveries and merchandise featuring the colour blue, an initiative created to celebrate both its partnership with title sponsor HP and the 70 years of Ferrari in North America.
The Maranello team, since establishing its collaboration with IBM, has increasingly focused on bringing fans closer through initiatives designed to actively involve the global Ferrari community. Ahead of the American round, a new video has appeared on the team’s official social media channels.
What will happen on April 30?
A short 13-second video shows Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton walking through a room where fans can be seen celebrating their passion for the Prancing Horse. The two drivers appear as they observe images representing some of the most iconic symbols of the Ferrari team.
The caption is clear: “Drivers and Tifosi. Coming soon”. At the end of the clip, a very precise date appears: April 30, 2026. It is the Thursday before the Miami Grand Prix weekend. What could be announced?
Another hint comes from partner IBM, which stated: “Stay tuned. We have something special for you Tifosi”.
It remains to be seen whether further details about this potential event will be revealed in the coming days. It is also worth remembering that Ferrari will once again feature special merchandise in Florida, with some early spoilers already emerging regarding the caps that Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton are expected to wear.
All of this builds additional excitement around what promises to be a crucial weekend. The SF-26 will reportedly feature a large number of upgrades, with the evolved Macarena rear wing set to make its official debut.
A special livery seems unlikely, but in Formula 1 nothing can ever be completely ruled out. The first free practice session will last one hour and thirty minutes, allowing teams additional time to refine setup changes agreed upon on April 20.
