Ferrari needs confirmation. For Charles Leclerc, the updates are working: in the first free practice session he clocked the third fastest time, and in FP3 the fourth. Further behind is Lewis Hamilton: the seven-time world champion barely made it into the top 10 in FP1. In the final session on Friday, he seemed off pace and ended up down in thirteenth place.
McLaren remains on paper the favourite: their two drivers are unstoppable, and pole position is within reach for both Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri.
FP3 for the Saudi Arabian GP is scheduled to go live at 15:30 Central European Summer Time. The LIVE session report on our site will begin at around 15:25.

The heat will be a real challenge for the teams, and the weather could put tyres to the test. Another weekend of very high temperatures is expected. Temperatures will remain around 30°C throughout the weekend, with no surprises in the weather: no rain is expected, only sunshine everywhere.
During Friday’s free practice sessions we already saw very high temperatures. However, things are expected to rise slightly on Saturday. In FP3, temperatures will be around 32°C, dropping slightly in the evening — conditions should be slightly cooler during qualifying.
