The chase after McLaren resumes, starting in Jeddah, a very fast track located in Saudi Arabia. Formula 1 continues its tour beyond the Pacific for another race under the artificial lights provided by floodlights placed along the circuit.
At McLaren, the internal battle between Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris continues. The Australian is confirming himself as a real threat to the Briton, who so far has had a poor start to the season considering the exceptional potential of the MCL39.
While McLaren’s dominance is not in question, the main uncertainties lie in which team might be able to challenge the papaya cars. Mercedes, Red Bull, and Ferrari are alternating as the second-best team, but there’s still no clear picture of who could truly put the Woking-based team under pressure.
George Russell and Charles Leclerc are the most consistent drivers behind Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris, but Kimi Antonelli is improving steadily, while Lewis Hamilton still needs to get comfortable with the SF-25. At Red Bull, all hopes remain pinned on Max Verstappen’s immense talent, though Yuki Tsunoda is having a strong start to the season after moving from Racing Bulls to Red Bull.
