For the top-tier event, free practice sessions will be held on Friday from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm and from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm, following the established schedule of recent years. On Saturday, there will be free practice from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm and qualifying from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Finally, on Sunday, the GP race will start at 3:00 pm, consisting of 53 laps. In addition to Formula 1, Monza will host the final round of the Formula 3 championship, the penultimate round of Formula 2 before the grand finale in Abu Dhabi, and the Porsche Mobil Supercup.
Fans will have the opportunity to follow the on-track action thanks to 31 large screens placed along the circuit, a higher number compared to the past season. As for the fans, the five pedestrian entrances (Vedano, Lesmo, Mirabello, Costa Alta, and Costa Bassa) have been confirmed, and two new footbridges (Mirabello/Variante Ascari; Variante Ascari/ingresso Santa Maria alle Selve) have been built to facilitate and speed up public access. The gates will open at 7:30 am on Friday, September 1st, and at 7:00 am on Saturday, September 2nd, and Sunday, September 3rd. All gates will close at 8:00 pm on all three days.
Another topic related to fans is the Fan Zone, located between the opposite straight and the High-Speed Ring, offering the chance to experience a tire change, try a driving simulation, learn about the careers of the 20 protagonists of the Championship, experience the podium emotion, and get a glimpse into the Formula 1 of the future. Visitors will also have the chance to admire some historical Italian Formula 1 cars exhibited and the cars with which the drivers will parade on Sunday morning. The Fan Zone will be open to the public for free on Thursday, August 31st, at 2:00 pm, while on other days, access will be allowed to GP ticket holders from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm.
Inside the facility, visitors can bring umbrellas without a metal tip, chairs and stools not made of wood, plastic bottles, and water bottles with a capacity not exceeding half a liter.
