Scuderia Ferrari begins experimenting with parts that could be developed for next year’s single-seater. In the pits of Mexico City, new front discs from Brembo made of a new material were seen.
Ferrari is not only focused on chasing Mercedes for the second place in the Constructors’ World Championship standings. The Maranello team has four races left on the calendar to close the 22-point gap to the Silver Arrows. In the pits of the circuit named after the Rodriguez brothers, the Scuderia has already revealed new front brake discs from Brembo with five holes made from a new material that is under evaluation for next Formula One season.
This solution will certainly be used in the Friday free practice sessions, and it’s not certain if it will be combined with other new elements that the Maranello team might have studied in co-engineering with the experts from the multinational company based in Bergamo, which the photograph by motorsport editor Giorgio Piola has not yet managed to uncover.
