The Monegasque driver of Scuderia Ferrari, Charles Leclerc, has long held in his heart one of the most iconic races in motorsport: the 24 Hours of Le Mans. His ambitions for this race have recently been unveiled, and it seems that the dream could become a reality in the not-so-distant future.
Le Mans: A Lifelong Dream
“The 24 Hours of Le Mans has always been a race I’ve wanted to compete in,” Charles Leclerc confessed. “It’s an idea that has fascinated me and one that I hope to realize one day.” – the Ferrari man pointed out.
A Dream Team: Family and Friendship
But Charles doesn’t want to experience this journey alone. “Imagine participating in this competition alongside my brother Arthur and my dear friend Antonio Fuoco. We’ve shared so many moments growing up together, and being there, on the track, all three of us, would be incredible. Antonio is even intensively preparing for that moment,” Charles Leclerc revealed with enthusiasm.
Logistical Matters: Plans to Coordinate
Of course, realizing such a dream is not without its challenges. “All of us are involved in different categories, so we need to ensure our schedules align. But I’m optimistic: that day will come,” the Ferrari driver declared hopefully to the microphones of Motorsport.com.
Ferrari is said to be adopting a fresh appearance for the Italian Grand Prix this season, a nod to their success at the Circuit de la Sarthe.
After an absence of half a century, Ferrari made a comeback to the top-tier Hypercar class for the 2023 24 Hours of Le Mans. The outcome that followed was rather surprising.

Guided by former Alfa Romeo F1 driver Antonio Giovinazzi, along with James Calado and Alessandro Pier Guidi, Ferrari celebrated their glorious return with a victory, marking their first overall triumph at Le Mans since 1965. This milestone achievement held immense significance for the Italian brand. Soon after this historic accomplishment, Ferrari doesn’t have to wait long for the next pivotal event on their racing calendar, which is none other than their Formula 1 home race, the Italian Grand Prix at Monza.
