Lewis Hamilton delivered his strongest result since joining Ferrari, overtaking Max Verstappen in the closing stages to secure second place and continue building momentum in his 2026 campaign.

Max Verstappen, meanwhile, celebrated his first podium finish of the 2026 Formula 1 season, while Charles Leclerc endured a relatively low-profile weekend, eventually bringing home fourth place for Ferrari.

Further down the order, valuable championship points were collected by Isack Hadjar, Franco Colapinto, Liam Lawson, Pierre Gasly, Carlos Sainz and Oliver Bearman, all of whom capitalised on a dramatic and unpredictable Canadian Grand Prix.
