“The Federation has issued a directive to control costs related to other sporting programs of the teams, such as boat, bicycle, or road car designs, in order to prevent personnel from being used for research useful to Formula 1 while bypassing the spending limits. Clarification requested from Mercedes, Ferrari, Red Bull, and Aston Martin.” This is the legal information reported on the online portal of the well-known Italian publication.
