Leclerc and Hamilton open “Drive to Monza” in Milan
Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton were the stars of an exclusive evening at the Palazzo Reale, in the heart of Milan, celebrating the start of the 2025 Italian Grand Prix week with the event “Drive to Monza.” The initiative, organized by Peroni Nastro Azzurro 0.0% in collaboration with Scuderia Ferrari and brand partner Ray-Ban, gave fans the unique opportunity to see the two Ferrari drivers up close before the Monza weekend.
A unique atmosphere in the heart of Milan
Welcomed at Piazzetta Reale by Sky Sport journalists Vicky Piria and Davide Camicioli, the two Ferrari drivers greeted the crowd from the balcony, signed autographs, posed for photos, and interacted with fans. It was a symbolic moment that officially opened the most anticipated motorsport weekend of the year in Italy.
A mix of passion, style, and entertainment
The event featured high-profile guests including Rkomi, actor Stefano Accorsi, and Melissa Satta, while the night reached its peak with a live performance by Grammy-nominated music group Meduza. The evening was further enriched by fine cuisine crafted by Giacomo Milano and by signature cocktails created by Patrick Pistolesi for the two Ferrari drivers.
Ray-Ban used the occasion to unveil a Special Edition of its iconic sunglasses, while Peroni strengthened its role as a symbol of Italian style and elegance in the motorsport world.
The words of Viviana Manera
“The goal of our partnership with Ferrari is to offer unique experiences to the fans. Meeting the two drivers is the highest expression of our commitment,” said Viviana Manera, Marketing Director of Birra Peroni.
The success of the evening and the extraordinary turnout confirmed once again the cultural and sporting impact of the Italian Grand Prix beyond the racetrack, with Milan playing a leading role in celebrating the blend of elegance, passion, and racing heritage.
