Charles Leclerc is approaching the Italian Grand Prix at Monza with determination, eager to fight for victory. At the same time, the Monegasque driver has decided to share some valuable advice with his new teammate Lewis Hamilton, who is preparing to experience his very first race at Monza as a Ferrari driver.
Leclerc described the unique emotions that every Ferrari driver feels during the Monza weekend and wanted Hamilton to understand just how extraordinary the atmosphere can be. Despite the demanding schedule and the intensity of the week, Leclerc explained that the special energy of the Italian Grand Prix wipes away any sense of fatigue.
Charles Leclerc’s advice to Hamilton
“I told Lewis that it’s definitely quite a tiring week, but the beautiful thing is that you don’t really feel exhausted during those days. The real tiredness only hits on Sunday evening, once everything is over. Until then, there’s so much positive energy around us that it feels like a constant push, an encouragement to keep giving more and more,” Charles Leclerc explained.
The Ferrari driver emphasized how the passion of the Tifosi and the atmosphere created by the crowd constantly fuel motivation: “You’re always highly motivated to get back on track and live in the moment. It’s simply a special weekend for us Ferrari drivers. Right now, I don’t feel tired at all, but I know that by Sunday evening you really notice how drained you are. It’s almost as if you don’t realize the fatigue until you finally stop.”
Charles Leclerc’s words serve as valuable guidance for Lewis Hamilton, who is about to discover what it means to race in red at Monza. The seven-time world champion will soon experience firsthand the powerful combination of passion, adrenaline, and affection that makes the Italian Grand Prix one of the most emotional events on the Formula 1 calendar. At Monza, every lap feels unforgettable, and the atmosphere allows drivers to push beyond their limits, forgetting all tiredness at least until the checkered flag falls.
