The anticipation to see the cars back on the track builds curiosity among fans to discover the advancements of the new machines. It’s the time of year when dreams of glory seem within reach.
During the traditional Christmas lunch at Ferrari, the team principal of the Scuderia, Frederic Vasseur, officially confirmed what had been whispered for a few weeks: the wraps will be taken off the new car in the second week of February, more precisely on February 13th, a Tuesday.

“The presentation will take place on February 13, the day before Valentine’s Day. I chose the 13th because this way we will have one more day before the tests, which are scheduled earlier than last year. Putting everything together is not easy. On the 14th, there will be presentations from other teams. It means that we had no other option. I think also that some other teams are doing it on the 14th, but it’s quite challenging to be all ready for Bahrain,” explained the head of the Ferrari Racing Department.
Winter tests are scheduled from February 21 to 23 in Sakhir, Bahrain—just three days before the start of the championship, scheduled for March 2, also in Bahrain.
