Here is the video of the wheel-to-wheel photo finish that was not shown live during the sprint race in Qatar between Scuderia Ferrari Monegasque driver Charles Leclerc and Alex Albon, separated by just four thousandths of a second at the finish line (before the penalty to #16).
A real sprint in Qatar, with the final lap (not broadcast live, the video is shown below) that saw Charles Leclerc and Alexander Albon battling it out for seventh place in a photo finish.
Thanks to the medium tires, the Williams driver closed in on Charles Leclerc towards the end, with the Monegasque struggling due to the soft tire. The two drivers contested seventh place on the final lap, taking the battle right to the finish line.
At first, it was the Ferrari driver who came out on top. The Monegasque indeed beat the Williams driver by just four-thousandths of a second in a photo finish. Here is the video of the final side-by-side action:
Despite Charles Leclerc initially beating the driver from the Grove team, Albon still secured seventh place. The pressure from the Anglo-Thai driver forced #16 to push beyond the limit. The Ferrari man exceeded track limits four times on the last lap alone, dealing with both tire difficulties and his opponent.

This violation was penalized by the race stewards with a five-second penalty, which promoted Alex Albon to seventh place (with Fernando Alonso in eighth) and pushed Charles Leclerc all the way down to thirteenth.
For Albon, these are two unexpected points, and more importantly, they are his first points in a sprint race for him and for Williams. Thanks to the two points from the former Red Bull driver, Williams solidifies its seventh place in the constructors’ standings with a total of 23 points.
