Charles Leclerc has unveiled the special helmet he will wear for the 2025 Imola Grand Prix: on the shell, a true declaration of love for Ferrari.
At Imola, Ferrari takes to the track looking to bounce back after a world championship start that fell short of expectations. On the eve of the weekend, the Scuderia’s standard-bearer, Charles Leclerc, presented the special helmet he will wear during the sessions of the year’s first Italian Grand Prix.
It hasn’t been a smooth start to the season for the Prancing Horse. Too often, Fred Vasseur’s team has had to deal with a temperamental and hard-to-read car, and the results have brought little joy to Maranello. According to the team, the potential is there, but unlocking it feels like chasing a mirage. For the Santerno round, insiders expect a few updates to the SF-25 that could mark the beginning of a turnaround for the Modena-based outfit.
Charles Leclerc’s helmet for the Imola GP
Absent on Thursday at Imola due to illness, Ferrari’s Monegasque driver appeared smiling in the paddock on Friday morning. After posing for photos with fans and signing several autographs, Charles Leclerc made his way to the motorhome to complete preparations for the free practice sessions in Romagna.
Charles Leclerc then presented the helmet he’ll wear during the 2025 Imola GP weekend. The helmet features a bold, deep red as the dominant color. A white band runs across the shell. Charles Leclerc’s Imola helmet echoes the design typically worn by Ferrari’s mechanics. The special message on the shell is directed precisely at them. “Let’s keep pushing, as a team,” reads the decoration on the 1997-born Monegasque’s helmet.
