Just after the Miami Grand Prix, Formula 1 finally reaches Europe. The first stop on the old continent is in Italy, at Imola, at the Enzo and Dino Ferrari Circuit. Below is the schedule and broadcast times for the Imola GP, which will take place from May 16 to 18.
After Miami, Formula 1 takes a one-week break. Teams will have the opportunity to return to base to work on the simulator and prepare for the first round of a triple-header. In fact, Imola will be the first of three very demanding rounds, followed by Monaco and then Barcelona.
With the return to Europe, F1 will finally have convenient timings for the Italian audience. In Italy, expectations will be sky-high for two reasons. The first concerns Ferrari, which will introduce its first upgrades to the SF-25 on home soil, hoping to finally turn the tide of the championship.
The second concerns the circuit. For Imola, this could be the last appearance, with the risk of not being confirmed for next year. The contract is expiring, and no renewal has been discussed yet. We’ll see if the weekend will bring clarity on the future of one of the most historic circuits in the sport.
