21-year-old Monégasque racing driver Charles Leclerc took part in his first Ferrari launch on Friday morning. During his moment in the spotlight, Charles spoke about finally achieving his dream and how he expects to learn so much from driving alongside a four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel.
The man from Monaco will make his Ferrari debut in just a months time at the Australian Grand Prix. A lot of attention is focused on how his relationship will be with experienced driver Vettel. Leclerc, highlighting the positives, suggests it’s a great opportunity for him to learn lessons: “Nervous? No,” Charles Leclerc said earlier today at Scuderia Ferrari’s impressive launch when asked how he feels to be racing alongside four-time Formula One world champion Sebastien Vettel – “I think it’s more of an opportunity for me to be next to Vettel, a champion who I can learn a lot from. I see it as an opportunity, the key will be working all together but I’m sure we’ll make it,” Leclerc said during the launch – “I’m extremely excited to start this new adventure, it’s a dream. I’ve been hoping to one day be in this car. It’s an emotional day for me.” – the Monégasque racing driver added.
