The renewal signed last year confirmed what had already been known for some time. Charles Leclerc and Ferrari are in perfect harmony, so much so that they have reached an agreement for a collaboration that extends beyond on-track F1 activities.
The Monegasque driver has never hidden his many passions outside of motorsport. Among these are certainly music—with various songs released on different platforms that have been very successful among fans—and fashion.
Charles increasingly a Ferrari man
It is precisely the latter that will be the focus of the new agreement between Leclerc and the Maranello-based team. The driver with number 16, together with Ferrari’s creative director Rocco Iannone, will launch a special collection. The inspiration comes from the Monegasque’s personal style combined with a love of travel and leisure. All of this will of course maintain the codes of performance and elegance that distinguish the Ferrari brand worldwide.
The capsule collection is expected to debut on May 21 with a special event to be held in Monte Carlo. During those days, in fact, Formula 1 will be stopping on the streets of the Principality, in one of the most eagerly awaited and beloved events on the entire calendar.
Furthermore, according to some rumors that have circulated in recent weeks, the Maranello team may be preparing a limited edition of merchandise specifically for Charles Leclerc’s home race. Some photos had recently been published, although official confirmation will require a bit more waiting.
For several years now, teams have chosen to celebrate certain race weekends with shirts and hats that become true collector’s items. One example is the “Modena yellow” t-shirts created by Ferrari for the Monza GP a few years ago. A special edition that was very popular among the Tifosi of the Prancing Horse and quickly sold out.
