Little Robin Raikkonen – The Iceboy – stole the hearts of the Formula 1 paddock at the 2018 Hungarian Grand Prix and after his father, Kimi Raikkonen finished third, the lad was clearly in good spirits which even prompted smiles from the normally taciturn Ferrari driver.
Three-year-old Robin accompanied by his mother Minttu delighted the paddock at Hungaroring and after the race sprayed his father with water in celebration, but his father is hoping that his kid does not follow in his footsteps to become a racing driver. However, that might be in vain as the youngster clearly shows that he has similar DNA to his father, always keen for a party and a soft spot for ice-cream!
Nevertheless, the 2007 Formula 1 World Champion said, “Let’s hope he is not too enthusiastic and wants to start karting. That’s not the best idea…”
Later, Robin sporting a Ferrari cap got a chance to savour the podium with a spray of water, antics which Raikkonen senior clearly enjoyed, “Of course it was nice for him. Robin is at an age when he will remember these things.”

At the 2008 British Grand Prix, reigning world champion Kimi Raikkonen was seen pushing over a Formula One photographer on the Silverstone grid prior to the start of the race.
According to the Finnish television station MTV3, the Ferrari driver – taking off his helmet after driving to the grid – was infuriated when Frenchman Paul-Henri Cahier got too close before stepping on his equipment to take his photo.
“Photographers should respect the fact that Kimi is about to race and not get too close,” Kimi Raikkonen’s manager Steve Robertson reportedly said.

Kimi Raikkonen came up with another team radio gem during the 2018 British Grand Prix whilst discussing strategy with his team. For someone so reserved and non-confrontational out of the car, Kimi sure does like to let loose when he’s in it. Passionate radio messages from the cockpit of the No.7 Ferrari aren’t uncommon, and at Silverstone he delivered another cracker.
Ahead of his pit stop, Kimi wanted to figure out a strategy which would allow him to push in clean air. His engineer seemed more concerned with telling him about his 10-second penalty, however, so Kimi went into full-on passive-aggressive mode.
