Scuderia Ferrari have revealed their 2022 challenger on Thursday and then headed out at their Fiorano test track for the F1-75 car’s first run yesterday.
The Maranello team’s new car is of course based on the ground effect aerodynamic concept which has been introduced ahead of the 2022 Formula 1 campaign and has led to an extreme simplification of the chassis design. At the same time, the Pirelli tyres have increased in size to 18 inches and the fuel blend is now made up of 90 percent fossil fuels and 10% renewable resources as Formula 1 wants to go carbon neutral by 2030.

If the Italian side have got the new rules and regulations right remains to be seen, but for now Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc hit the track at the Maranello team’s own Fiorano test circuit to give the F1-75 car its first shakedown.
Scuderia Ferrari tweeted a video of the Spanish driver pulling up on an extremely foggy Friday with the caption “ending a very special week in style.”
