Ferrari, I’m coming
Lewis Hamilton’s debut behind the wheel of a Ferrari is still a whole year away, but after the historic announcement on February 1st, it’s inevitable that all motorsport enthusiasts can’t wait to see the seven-time world champion wearing a red suit for the first time.
Evidently, this anticipation is contagious even for the directly interested party. After expressing his initial thoughts on this incredible transfer in recent days through a post on his social media channels, he had fun ‘virtually’ putting himself behind the wheel of a Ferrari. Thanks to his friend Will Smith, who couldn’t resist creating a photoshopped image of a famous scene from the movie Bad Boys II, replacing Smith’s smiling face with the veteran Briton’s.
In the passing lane
The video, shared on Instagram by Lewis Hamilton himself, is taken from a famous chase scene filmed on the Miami highway. In the sequence, Will Smith is behind the wheel of a gray 550 Maranello, speeding along the highway, weaving between cars; a wish for what all Ferrari fans expect Hamilton to do from the moment he arrives in Italy.
At this point, one might think that the famous statement made by Sebastian Vettel a few years ago – “Everyone is a Ferrari fan, even those who don’t admit it” – truly applies to everyone, including Hollywood stars.
