The Ferrari SF-24 hits the track at Fiorano for the 2024 shakedown and filming day: when and where to watch Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz in action. The Ferrari SF-24, the car that will compete in the 2024 F1 World Championship, is ready to cover its first kilometers of the Formula 1 season. The stage for the debut of the new Ferrari will be, as tradition dictates, the Fiorano track.
The facility, located in Maranello, is owned by the Scuderia and will host the shakedown and filming day for the new car this year. The first, scheduled for February 13, will follow the presentation, with Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz completing only a few laps (approximately 15 km).
For the following day, February 14, the filming day is planned. Starting this year, the regulations allow teams to cover 200km in a single day (twice as much as last year). In both cases, these are excellent opportunities for fans to see the new Ferrari SF-24 in action from points located near the circuit. There will be no TV coverage of this event, but footage from fans will definitely be posted on social media.
Where to see the Ferrari SF-24 at Fiorano:
There are two points where you can watch Fiorano track. The first is on Via Goito in Fiorano. At the end of the small street, you will find the track’s fences, from where you can see the car in action.
The second observation point is on Via Abetone Inferiore. Once you pass the Ferrari factory, on the right going towards Modena, there is a bridge with a wide sidewalk. From here, you can see a significant part of the Fiorano circuit.
