In the ninth race of the 2025 season, F1 hits the track in Barcelona and for this reason we looked at the weather forecast for the Spanish GP weekend, the race in which the new technical directive will make its debut.
There is great anticipation to understand what the effects of the new rules on flexible wings will be as they debut in Catalonia. The FIA wants to resolve the matter once and for all and has decided to make checks on front wing flexibility much stricter.
Who will benefit? Some believe the effects could be significant, potentially shaking up the balance on the grid. Others think there won’t be major changes, with McLaren expected to maintain the leading role it has held so far.
Already from the first free practice sessions, there will certainly be signs that could help us understand who will be most penalised by the new technical directive.
