Liberty Media and Formula 1 have been clear β without the necessary modifications, securing a renewal for the Italian event will be challenging. For this reason, following the customary press conference, work at the Monza Autodrome continues without pause just over six months before the Italian Grand Prix.
The first completed step involves the asphalt. Indeed, the road surface has been entirely removed along the entire circuit to ensure it can be entirely renewed in the coming months. As seen in the video recorded and published by MonzaBrianza News, the Autodrome currently appears completely devoid of asphalt.

Regarding the expected timeline for completing the modifications, the first scheduled event on the Lombardy track is set for the end of June when the MiMo will take place. The schedule is quite tight, although so far, progress has been adhering to the plan without significant hitches.
Certainly, in the coming months, Liberty Media and Formula 1 will conduct various inspections to ensure that the stipulated requirements are met. “These are necessary interventions to ensure that the Monza Autodrome continues to be a great showcase for the sport and for our country,” stated Stefano Domenicali in the press conference last January, where, among others, Matteo Salvini and Attilio Fontana also spoke.
